Allied Projects was chosen to provide a master plan for Paws for Life, a community-oriented pet rescue foundation, for their existing 44,000 square foot campus in Los Angeles. The master plan aims to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the facility while creating a welcoming and engaging environment for visitors, volunteers, and staff. The adoption center will be transformed into a welcoming space for potential adopters. Additional fenced-in recreation areas for dogs will be added. A community garden filled with native plants and scenic walking trails will be incorporated to promote relaxation and community involvement. Administrative and support facilities are to be modernized. This master plan will transform the Paws for Life campus into a state-of-the-art facility, enhancing its capacity to serve the community and provide exceptional care for animals.
