Allied Projects was commissioned to design an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in Los Angeles to harmonize with the existing home's architectural style and to redesign the backyard for a cohesive and inviting outdoor space. The ADU seamlessly integrates with the traditional aesthetic of the main house, featuring a living area, bedroom, bathroom, and a small kitchenette. Materials matching the main house's siding, roofing, and trim were used to ensure consistency. The backyard redesign centers around the swimming pool, surrounded by a spacious patio and drought tolerant landscaping.
